CamperJumble

Having proved highly popular at previous events, CamperJumble™ featuring used camping equipment and campers for sale is an attraction of CAMPERLIFE@STRATFORD™.

Seller’s Pitches are optional and totally free to campers at the show. You decide if you want to sell some used goods during the course of the show. If not, then camp in one of the racecourse’s camping areas.

How to reserve a Seller’s Pitch

Basically, there is no need to reserve or book a Seller’s Pitch in advance! Upon arrival at Stratford-upon-Avon Racecourse all campers have to do is simply inform the Gate Marshal they wish to be located in the “CamperJumble Zone”. Arriving in the zone, a free Seller’s Pitch will be waiting for them.

Sellers’ Pitches are located within the racecourse’s Grandstands complex, an area that will have full camping facilites such as toilets, showers, a chemical waste (Elsan) disposal point, and even a laundry!

Obviously camping is permitted on Sellers’ Pitches, therefore once set-up, you won’t have to move all weekend.

Sellers’ Pitches are totally free of charge. There are only two rules for Sellers’ Pitches.

  1. Items to be sold have to be a minimum of 80% used. If new goods are more than 20% on your pitch, then you will be given the option of either purchasing a Trade Stand Pitch and transferring to the Trade Area, or pack up the goods for sale and transfer to one of the racecourse’s regular camping areas.
  2. As the “CamperJumble Zone” is pedestrianised during the show’s opening hours [Sat 10:00-17:00, Sun 10:00-16:00] vehicle movement is not possible during these hours. This is due to Health & Safety stipulations, breaking this fundamental rule would not only jeopardise our Public Liability Insurance, but could also potentially see the event closed down by the authorities … understandably they are that stringent about vehicle movement in pedestrianised areas.
Veterans In Action is a registered charity No. 1128026

Regarding selling of motorised campers, caravans or trailer tents, apart from those above, the only additional rule is that they have to be secondhand to be eligible for a free pitch … although we ask that if sold, seller’s make a donation to the event’s favoured good cause – Veterans In Action.

Exactly what amount is completely up to you, just know that every penny goes to the charity. Thanks in advance!
